Darwin "Mac" McLeod

Darwin "Mac" McLeod, age 80, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born May 20, 1943 in Florence, Texas to William Clifford and Ada May (Williams) McLeod.
Mac served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in the oil fields for many years, and raised livestock. Mac loved to fish and was a competitive musher when he lived in Alaska. He also enjoyed restoring classic vehicles. Mac was a regular at the senior center in Muleshoe and served on the board there as well. He enjoyed all types of music and liked to sing at church. Mac loved his dog, Sudie and all of his family, but most of all, he loved the Lord. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Patricia McLeod Kirk, Jackie McLeod and Evelyn Winders; and a brother, Dean McLeod.
Mac is survived by his step-son, Dennis Jackson and his wife, Heidi of Brighton, Colorado; his step-daughter, Roberta Jackson of Dalhart, Texas; a sister, Joy McLeod Priest of Texarkana, Texas; a brother, William "Butch" McLeod of Kenai, Alaska; five grandchildren, Sailor Jackson, Oakley Jackson, Deni Jackson, Andi Jackson and Codi Jackson; his very good friend, Theresa McLeod; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
