CARTHAGE- Daryl D. Bisig, 64, of South Washington Street died peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Suny Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with his loving family at his side. He was born on July 6, 1959, in Rodman, NY to the late Robert & Joyce (Hutchins) Bisig.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Lundy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverand Wayne Arnold, officiating. A lunch will follow at the Carthage Church of the Nazarene, 960 State St. #1408, Carthage, NY 13619.
He attended local schools. Daryl was a Herdsman working for the late Herschel L. Handschuh at Herschel Handschuhe Farms in Redwood, NY.
Daryl Married Pam (Hutton) on August 8, 2009.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Bisig, of Carthage; his daughter, Kattie Ann Bisig & her companion, Ralph Pitre; along with his stepchildren, Scott (April) Hutchins, Shawn (Rhonda) Hutchins, Clover Scott & Toni Hiatt, Phillip Hutchins Jr., Soncerae (Patrick) Dolan, and Tony (Casey) Hutchins. His siblings, are Larry (Mary) Bisig, Robert (Kim) Bisig, Elaine Jewett & Chuck Johnson, Darlene & Joe Gregory, and Debbie Tarran. 15- grandchildren, 12- great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents, Robert & Joyce; a sister, Cheryl Kohl; and two brothers, Albert Bisig and Jimmy BisigHe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. He was an avid New York Yankee fan. Daryl also had a great love for any and all farm animals.
