Daryl Stumbaugh Obituary
He was born in Ashland, OH on October 16, 1953 the son of Harold and Mary Louise (McFarlin) Stumbaugh. He was a 1972 graduate of Ashland High School where he excelled at track and held several school records. Daryl was a truck driver who was very proud of his profession. He retired in 2017 after driving for 43 years. He always had a kind word, a joke to tell and he had never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife Lou Anne Rayl of West Salem, two sons, Niles Stumbaugh of Ashland and Jason Rogers of Europe, two daughters, Jamie (Garret) Jones of Coleta, IL, and Jenn Rogers (Matt Duffy) of Fulton, IL.
Grandchildren Nicholas Stumbaugh, Dreyven Duffy and Kiya Duffy and a sister Marilyn Sheriff of Ashland, OH. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Rodney.
Graveside services will be held Saturday June 28, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Jeromesville Cemetery, officiated by Ron Bachman. A celebration of life dinner will be held immediately after at the American Legion in Ashland. 1338 Claremont Ave. Ashland, OH.
Fickes Funeral home in Jeromesville assisted the family with the arrangements.
