February 3, 2026

Marjorie Eileen Camp, entered the presence of the Lord peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026. She lived each day with a heart full of faith, a spirit of generosity, and a deep love for her family and church community. She served in the church as a children's teacher, was a leader in the Women's Missionary Council and loved bringing the Good News of the Gospel to others.

Marjorie was born on December 10, 1924 to Arthur and Beulah Iceman near New Pittsburg, Wayne County Ohio. At a young age, the family home burned to the ground and they relocated to Jeromesville, Ohio. After leaving high school, Marjorie met and married Stanley Lower. Stanley served in the military and was killed in action in 1945. Their son, Gary L. Lower, was born on November 2, 1943 and never met his father.

Marjorie met William F. Camp, they moved to Ashland, Ohio, and began attending the W. 10th Street Grace Brethren Church where they first heard the Gospel and put their faith in Christ. Marjorie worked in food service for the Ashland City Schools where she became head baker at Ashland High School until her retirement.

Marge and Bill created a loving home with her son Gary, and had 2 children, Barbara who lives in Mansfield, OH and Steve who lives in Oklahoma with his wife Cindy.

She is survived by her 3 children Gary (Carol) Lower of Ashland, Barbara McLeary of Mansfield, and Steve (Cindy) of Oklahoma; six grandchildren Gary Lower (Lori), Annette (Robb), Matthew, Marty (Leslie), Laura (Harold), and Jennier (Todd); eleven great grandchildren: Morgan, Garrett, JC, Molly, Macy, Robbee, Tucker, Trace, Tristan, Taylee, Jayden; great-great grandchildren Porter and Camden. And several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Camp, her brothers Earl Iceman, Chet Iceman, and Art Iceman.

A celebration service will be held, Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Ashland Grace Church, 1142 W. Main St. Ashland. Calling hours will be at the church from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at noon in the main sanctuary. A meal will be served following the service.
