Dave Justice Jr., born November 7, 1947, in Jefferson TX, passed from this life to the next on January 1, 2026, at his home in Atlanta TX. He was 78 years old.
He is preceded in death by parents Dave Justice Sr. and Lenora (Williams) Little; son Aundrell Justice; brother Leroy Groce; sister Deborah Groce; and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann (Willis) Justice of Atlanta TX; son Mikeil Justice (Andrea) of Sherman TX; daughters Ulanda Justice of New Boston TX, Opal Federick of Texarkana TX, Valarie Curley (Jimmy) of Wake Village TX, and Ravon Justice of New Waverly TX; brothers Jesse Groce (Kenny) of Dallas TX, and Rasheed Williams (Michelle) of Richardson TX; sisters Margaret Groce of Bivins TX, Minnie Peterson of Atlanta TX, Sercetta Williams of Atlanta TX, and Nina Crosby (Charles) of Red Oak TX; grandchildren Adriana, Chevalier, Jessica, Denise, Alex, Tyler, Micah, Timothy, Justice, and James; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army, dedicating 23 years of his life to military service before retiring with honor. Throughout his career, he exemplified discipline, commitment, and selfless devotion, earning the respect of those who served alongside him. Above all, he was a devoted husband and loving
father who deeply cherished his wife and children, finding his greatest joy and purpose in his family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 4pm-6pm, at Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City TX. A funeral service in Dave's honor will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, beginning at 1:00pm, at First Baptist Church in Atlanta TX (205 W. Allday St). Interment will follow at Pine
Crest Cemetery in Atlanta TX.

My condolences to the family. I did not know Dave but knowing son Mikeil and daughter Ravon he was certainly a good father. We had in common time in the US Army. My prayers for the Justice family in this time of grief. Coach Gordon Pynes
