David Adams Obituary
He was preceded in death by Father, Leon Adams; great nephew, Marshall Alan; grandparents, Marie and Clarence Adams, Jessie Mae and Harvey Galloway.
David loved old red book church hymns, the Georgia Bulldogs, nutty bars, and most of all, his family. He was also a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Patty Adams; daughter, Jessie Adams of Dalton; mother, Mary Adams of Calhoun, sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Ned Fowler of Calhoun; mother-in-law, Rhonda Crowder of Ringgold; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael and Vickie Plott of Dalton, Tracy Collins of Chattanooga, Roger and Karen Painter of Odessa, FL, nieces and nephews, Justin Swaney, Aaron Swaney, KC Hegwood, Mikey Plott, Brittany Warnack, Morgan Fowler, Chance Painter; uncles and aunts, Betty and Wib Dyer, Bobby and Nancy Galloway, Billy and Janice Galloway, and Daniel and Dorothy Adams; lifelong friend, Brian Hall of Dalton; cousins, great nieces, and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.
