(Roger) David Allman, 55 died in Columbus, Ohio on April 6, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 26, 1966 in Logan, Ohio to (Isla) Marlene (Pendleton) & Roger Nathan Allman.
David was married to Allison Allman, marking 28 years together in December, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his Father, two sisters Jennifer Rae Allman, Marsha Faye Perge, Grandparents James Franklin & Ada Faye Pendleton, Alfred & Elizabeth Allman, Mother-in-Law Karen Virginia Spracklen and Nephew Matthew Palmer.
In addition to his Wife, David is survived by his Beloved Son Steven, daughter-in-law Danielle and Treasured Granddaughter Kahlan Macko of Pt. St. John, Florida. He is survived by his Mother, (Isla) Marlene Allman & his Brother, Mark & Sister-in-Law Lisa Allman.
David had a very loving relationship with his in-law family members including Joseph Perge, Dan DeHaven, Dan Spracklen, Aaron & Katina DeHaven, Megan DeHaven, Shannon DeHaven, Sara & Mark Tuttle.
He had a Fantastic Love for his Nephews & Nieces Jared & Jordan Allman, Michael & Julian Perge, Brooke & Bailee Allman, Samantha Stevens, Abigail & Emmaleigh Tuttle, Ace & Elijah Bond and Leo DeHaven-Mellors.
David had an exceptionally close & loving relationship with his Aunts Janice Williams, Barbara Radekin, Janie Snavely & particularly with his Uncle Charles Snavely.
He had great Love & Regard for many of his co-workers at Honda & for his fellow Brothers at Lodge #463 LaRue Ohio.
David kept a special and permanent place in his heart for his oldest friend Stacy Felty, Florida.
David was a warm, Loving Person. Quick to smile, tell a joke or spin a Tale. He was always interested in learning about and knowing new things and getting to know the people he encountered along the way. He loved to travel and had a particular Love for his time in Scotland.
David was a Freemason and Past Master of LaRue Lodge # 463 as well as a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus and York Rite.
He was a talented guitarist with a great & abiding love of music. He was an avid cyclist and devoted Soccer, Baseball and Football fan to his teams Chelsea F.C., Columbus Crew, Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State University Football team. He also enjoyed & participated in a variety of strategy and role-playing games.
David was a Light in this World. Everything will be less Bright in the wake of his absence in our Lives.
David has requested Cremation and no Services.
In light of that fact, we ask that you think of him fondly. Find him in your everyday moments and continue to keep him close in your thoughts as you encounter the Joys, Beauty and even the Sorrows in your own World.
There will be a marker placed for David at Radcliff Cemetery in Radcliff, Vinton County Ohio.
