David Ross Anderson, Jr., born on May 15, 1972, in Guilford County, North Carolina, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Novant Health Pender Medical Center in Burgaw, North Carolina. He was 53 years old.
David was the beloved son of Phyllis Beck Smith and the late David Ross Anderson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father and his son, Anthony Anderson.
David had a passion for watching football and found joy in expressing himself through painting. He cherished these interests throughout his life, sharing them with those close to him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Damian, Megan, and Tyler Anderson, and his mother, Phyllis Smith. He is also survived by his special friend, Joyce Cecil, who held a significant place in his heart.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. His family and friends will remember him privately, honoring his life and the moments they shared with him.
David will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
