David Gilbert Andreas

David Gilbert Andreas passed away unexpectedly in his home on December 9, 2025. He was 65 years old. He was the beloved son of Gilbert and Maryann Andreas. David was born on February 27, 1960. David was the devoted brother to Vicki Andreas, Scott (Karen) Andreas, and Kay (Erick) Walbeck. He also had, "a sister from another Mister"(his words) Wendy Bishop. All from Wausau. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Maryann Andreas. Also, brothers Andy and Steve. David was a cherished uncle to his nephews Jon (Heather) Andreas, Weston and Matt (Julie) Andreas, Colorado. His nieces Tabitha (Jeff) Cole, Colorado and Melissa Gutowski of Wausau, WI. David dedicated 27 + years of his life to Schofield Enterprise, now known as Wise Harness Solutions in Weston. He was not only a valued employee but also a dear friend to many. David's kindness, humor, and dedication to his family and friends created a lasting legacy. His meticulous attention to detail and caring nature were evident in everything he did. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. A memorial service will be held to honor David on December 29, 2025, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1101 Elm Street Wausau. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. There will be lunch afterward in the Fellowship Hall.
