I knew Dave for a short while in Albuquerque. He spent sometime over at my house. I was glad to see him and his wife when they were on their way to the Superbowl. I found from a friend when he was at OKC Air Traffic Acadmey that he had passed. I knew I waited on his phone call when he went to Seahawk games. I didn't know how to reach out to the family to extend my/ our condolences from me and others a ZAB that worked with him. I still tell his redwood joke, and no one forgets that call sign when I tell it. Well Dave I listened and waited, and now I am an Air Traffic Controller. Thanks for believing in me. Took a while but I made it buddy. To Mrs. Deanette, hope I spelled that right, and family I know this is years down the way, but prayers are still being sent your way for you and your kids.
God Bless,
T. Franklin

Sending our love and prayers to Danette, Christopher, Kimberly, and Katrina. I have many fond memories from my childhood with Uncle Dave. I especially enjoyed the trip to Mount Saint Helens where we also got to see the space needle for the first time. I hope you all find comfort knowing Dave is with Ed and Helen in Heaven. Lots of love to you all.
