Mr. David Andrew Archer, age 14, of Macclenny, Florida passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 25th. David was born in Jacksonville, FL to Robert and Kim Archer and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. He attended Baker County High School where he was in the 9th grade and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny. David was very involved in his church's youth group and loved to serve his community. He was a member of the Explorers Post with the Baker County Sheriff's Office, an active member of Scouts BSA Troop 555 of Macclenny, FL and enjoyed the outdoors. David loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents: brother, Ben Archer: sisters, Grace, Faith and Hope Archer: maternal grandparents, Denna and Joe Burroughs of Jacksonville, FL and paternal grandparents, Wayne and Liz Archer of Jacksonville, FL. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that love him dearly. A funeral service to honor David's life will take place at 2 P.M., Saturday, February 3rd at First Baptist Church of Macclenny with Pastor John Schultz officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour prior to service). Interment will follow the funeral service in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would love to see everyone in their blue jeans and boots to help celebrate David's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Baker County High School FFA.
