ARCHDALE - David James Armentrout, Sr., 61, died Monday, September 29, 2025, at his residence.

He was born June 11, 1964, in High Point and was the son of the late Vincent Gloss and Peggy Ann Kersey Armentrout. He was employed with Altium Packaging in Thomasville for fifteen years. David enjoyed anything to do wit cars from building model cars to racing, especially NASCAR racing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David James Armentrout, Jr.

Davis is survived by a sister, Janice Armentrout Taylor (husband, Tim) of Winston-Salem; brother, Vince Armentout, Jr. (fiancée, Jamie Chaney) of Thomasville; two nieces, Ezra Campbell of Asheville and Olivia Smith (husband, Evan) of Kernersville; and several cousins.

Graveside service celebrating David's life will be held 2:00 PM October 6, 2025, at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mike Armentrout officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
