David Babb, Jr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 26, 2024.
David Lee Babb Jr., a devoted son, brother, uncle, great uncle and cherished friend, passed away at the age of 57. He was a gifted graphic designer with an eye for beauty, humor and detail. David's artistry graced countless lives, both professionally and personally.

He found joy in the simple pleasures-casting a line on quiet waters, tending to the perfect barbecue, and spending deck-time with the warmth of beloved dogs and cats. He found great humor in his nieces and nephews from when they were toddlers to the present. One could often hear him singing love songs from the 80s and 90s in beautiful baritone. But above all, David's heart was centered on his faith, his family, and his friends.

A man of deep love and unwavering devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. He spent many years devoted to pastoring youth. David's legacy is one of kindness, humor, and steadfast care. His absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire.

He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Celebration of Life service will be held at Twain Harte Bible Church on December 19th at 11:00 am.

David was preceded in death by his father, David Babb Sr. (2003), and his mother, Diane Babb (2024). David is survived by his siblings: Danny (Sarah), Laurie (Mark), Jennifer (Adam), Julie (Perry), Matt, and Molly; as well as his nephews and nieces: Cole, Grant, Maddie, Zachary, Lucas, Jacob, Kodi, Kaleb, Keana, Keira, Johnny, Judah, Liam, and Fiona.
