David W. Baker

Newfane: David Baker, surrounded by his loving family, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on March 27, 2023, after his brief battle with ALS. He was born May 1, 1958, in Lockport to the late William and Ann (Lingham) Baker.
David was a lifelong Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. He was known for is famous tomato dumplings and going all out during the Christmas season with decorations. David was an avid artist and also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing Yahtzee and Scrabble with his family. He had a special love for his dear cat, Abby and dog, Snoopy. Music and listening to the radio kept him entertained many days.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother Brian Baker.
David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Sandra, daughters Angela (Nate) Eggert, Samantha Baker, grandchildren Aria Baker, Ethan Eggert, Tessa Eggert, siblings, Cathy (Robert) Regan, Jim (Stacey) Baker, Aunt Donna Wright and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services for David will be held privately with interment at Glenwood Cemetery in Lockport.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara County SPCA 2100 Lockport Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
David's arrangements have been entrusted to the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, Gasport, NY.
