David L. Balthazor, age 67, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, September 21, 2023, at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1956, in Fond du Lac, the son of Gerald and Rosemary (Gross) Balthazor. Dave worked at International Paper for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed woodworking, old cars, gardening, fixing things, collecting coins, painting, and drawing. Dave was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his two children, Brenda (Adam) Propson, and David Balthazor; three grandchildren, Julie (fiancé Andre) Propson, Tyler Propson, and Christian Propson; his siblings, Bruce (Linda) Balthazor, Alan (Debra) Balthazor, Mark (Sonia) Balthazor, and Bill Balthazor; close friend, Mary Farr; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Daniel Balthazor.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at church at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
