Marilyn Renner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Zacherl Funeral Home - Fond du Lac on Jan. 20, 2026.
Marilyn Renner, age 78, formerly of Waupun and residing in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, was born on March 11, 1947, to Eugene and Leona Kujawski.

On January 19, 2026, Marilyn passed away after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, leaving behind a beautiful legacy marked by unwavering faith, selfless love, and a lifetime of service to others.

In 1968, Marilyn gave her life to Christ at The Gospel Tabernacle Church, a decision that shaped every aspect of her life and guided her every step. She was a longtime and devoted member of the Assembly & Church of God in Fond du Lac and Menomonee Falls. Marilyn faithfully served the Lord as an elementary school teacher at Milwaukee Christian Academy and dedicated more than 25 years to teaching Sunday School and Children's Church. Affectionately known to many as "Sister Dille," she touched countless lives through her gentle spirit, her dedication to teaching, and her powerful testimony of faith.

Anyone who met Marilyn quickly knew that her greatest love was Jesus. Her faith was evident in every conversation and reflected in the way she lived her life. Each morning began with reading her Bible, as it was important for her to put God first every day. Marilyn was a faithful servant who devoted her entire life to serving Christ, and her quiet strength, kindness, and steadfast devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

On May 30, 1981, Marilyn married Henry Renner. Together they shared 42 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith and love, until Henry's passing on December 28, 2023.

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Linda Kujawski, formerly of Fond du Lac and currently residing in Schofield; her children, David Dille of Fond du Lac, Paul Dille of Sussex, Julia Dille Cox (Shannon) of Fond du Lac, and Angela Renner Staniec (Jeremy) of Waupun; and her stepchildren, Matthew (Debbie) Renner, Edmund (Denise) Renner, and James Sr. (Charissa) Renner.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nicholas (Katelyn) Dille, Brianna (Bryce) Ebert, Morgan Cox, James Jr. (Sara) Renner, Anthony Renner, Daniel (Brianna) Renner, Kayla (Nick) Helgemo, and Joseph, Gabriel, Vincent, and Corbin Renner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; her stepson, Daniel Renner; and her grandson, Dakota Cox.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice Home of Hope staff for their compassionate care, and to the individuals who became especially dear to Marilyn during her final months. A sincere thank you to Amanda for going above and beyond, to Shari and Sharon for treating her with dignity and compassion, and to volunteers Samantha and Martha for their kindness, dedication, and loving support.

Marilyn's faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E Division St, Fond du Lac. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM.
