It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tim Renner at age 94, he passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends and family. At a very early age he started working to take care of his family, he and his wife started S and W Livestock Company. He loved life, and big Peterbilt trucks and horses. He also had the best sense of humor and mischievous twinkling smile. Tim attended Stone Dam Methodist Church, as long as his health permitted.

He is survived by his daughter Samantha Griffin. Sisters, Charlotte Broyles and Lucille Wills. Sister -in-law Nell Boles. Three special nieces Sandy Lisa and Kathy all of Knoxville. Special family member Saprina Fender, whom he thought of as a daughter, and her husband, Devin Lucas with whom he made his home with the last few years He also shared this home with Chloe, Baby and Piper, his beloved dogs. He also leaves behind a dear friend he called sweetie Mary Ann Riddle; she was a very dear care giver who became family. Another special caregiver Justin McNutt. Hayleigh Taylor, who he considers a granddaughter. Very dear friends and family, Faye Odell, Joyce Rose Smith, Ginger Kelley, Judy Aldridge, Sam and Susie Cogdell.

Tim is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Boles Renner. Also, by his parents. Brother Bobby Renner. Sister Shelby Jean Renner. Brothers-in-law, Kay Broyles, Harry Wills, and Graydon Boles.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-6 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service at Afton. The funeral will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Vivian Franklin officiating. The graveside will be at 11 am Wednesday at Stone Dam UMC. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10 am at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rick McKay, Allen Blake, Doug Rose, Denny Wills, Eddie Broyles, and Troy Taylor. Honorary pallbearers, Sam Cogdell, Micheal Williams, Bobby Combs, Carrol Hensley, Johnathan Williams, Chuck Milligan, Kalen Shepard, Gus Smith, and Glendal Eikenberry.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Morning Pointe for their exceptional care during his last days.
