UNIONTOWN - David Jay Barstow, 81, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away July 12, 2025.
David was born to Belva and Cecil Barstow on July 20, 1943. David was a loving and devoted husband of 58 years to Sandra Barstow; father to Alison Barstow-Elliott (Lee) and Alicia Barstow, and grandfather to Emma Levick and Noah Levick. He was uncle and great-uncle to members of his family who cherished his many stories of times past.
David spent six years in the Army Reserves before accepting a position with The Fabri-Form Company, where he eventually retired as the Vice-President of Operations. In his spare time, he enjoyed engaging with his community as a Rotarian and coaching softball. He was active in the Silver Lake Park Board, where he previously resided.
David loved fishing, gardening and above all else, spending time with his family. David never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He truly left the world a better place than he found it and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life, where we will toast David with mini beers, will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 12 Noon - 3 PM, at Mercy’s Meadow, 10804 Wright Road, NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
