David Bennor Obituary
David was born November 4, 1949 in Park Rapids to Clinton and Lauretta (Proffit) Bennor. He was raised on the family farm in Badoura Township and attended school in Akeley. After completing school in 1969, he headed to Thief River Falls. He worked 10 years at Artic Cat as a welder and worked at L.B. Hartz until 1986 when he returned to Park Rapids and worked 20 years at RDO processing potatoes.
David was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. He loved photography, guitar playing, country western movies and he loved his cats.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids with visitation for 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
David is survived by his sisters, Lela Glander of Park Rapids, Betty (Mike) Nethercutt of Backus, MN, and Ellen K. Worcester of Grove City, MN. Uncle David is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Lauretta, sisters, Barbara Glander and Doris Austad, and niece, Mary Olson.
Arrangements are by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids, MN.
