David Birkenhead

David Birkenhead, born May 16, 1944, in Boston, MA, passed away
peacefully. He grew up in Holbrook, MA, where he was a standout athlete.

A gifted mason, David left his mark in the 1970s and 80s building countless
fireplaces and chimneys that still warm homes across the state of Vermont.
Later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate a number of
successful bars and restaurants in the area.

He is survived by his loving partner of 34 years, Toni Denis of Rutland, VT;
son Adam Birkenhead and his wife Jennifer of Sharon, MA, and son Ryan
Birkenhead and wife Jaclyn of Westport, CT; three grandchildren, Quincy,
Charlie, and Romie Birkenhead; and two sisters, Ruth Turra of Buzzards Bay,
MA, and Diane and David Drinkwater of Leesburg, FL.

David will be remembered with love by his family and friends.
