David Arlan Bohannon

David Arlan Bohannon, age 72, of Encino, Ca., formerly of Carrollton, Ga., passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025.
He was born on December 29th, 1952, to the late Elmer and Lillian Bohannon. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Gladys Azenzer, and his brother, Jimmy Bohannon.
Survivors include his sister, Jane (David) Carter, stepchildren, Philip Azener, and Michele (Ryan) Azenzer Bear; nieces and nephews, Kellie (Paul) Showalter, Kristi (Donald) Turner, Kyle (LeighAnn) Carter, Deidre (Lauren) Bohannon and Brett (Brandi) Bohannon; sister-in-law Pat Bohannon Warren; 10 great nieces and nephews, and a caregiver and friend Abigail
He graduated from Carrollton High School, attended and played football at Gordon Military College. Attended UGA and graduated from West Georgia College.
He moved to California in 1990 to be with the love of his life, Gladys. He worked on tv sets for several years and spent the last 25 working with realtors as an inspector.
A service was held in the chapel of Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and his remains will be interred at the cemetery there.
A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Sunday, December 28th, 2025, from 2-4 pm at the Carter residence, 75 Brampton Way, Douglasville, Ga. 30134. This will be a casual gathering as we share memories and celebrate his life.
