David Boram, 76, of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at his home in New Castle. He was born on March 27, 1947, in New Castle to the late Robert and Esther (Swartz) Boram.

A Veteran of the United States Army, David served his country during the Vietnam Era. David graduated from Cadiz High School class of 1965. In 1970 he married the love of his life, Karen Cox and they celebrated 53 years of marriage this year. David served on the Shenandoah school board for 9 years and in 1995 he retired from General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of service as a machine repairman. He loved the Lord and was a member of South Memorial Drive Church of God. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing softball. He loved to spend time with his family and watching his grandchildren play ball.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Boram; children, Rhonda (Scott) Paris, Tina (Trent) Conyers and Amy (William) Wilson; grandchildren, Shoshannah (Josh) Smith, Jordan Wilson, Savannah (Elijah) Clark, Grant Paris, Gracie (Dylan) Spesard, Spencer Rhodehamel, Libby Paris, Keaton Conyers and Leah Paris; sisters, Mary Jo (Rodney) Hoover, Nila (Bob) Blackburn; sister-in-law, Betty Boram; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Boram.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 21, 2023, at South Memorial Drive Church of God with Pastor Jeannette Flynn officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Fall Creek Friends Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the South Memorial Drive Church of God 3800 S Memorial Dr. New Castle, IN 47362 or Parkinson's Research 9669 E. 146th St. Suite 180 Noblesville, IN 46060.
