David Bounds

David Lonnie Bounds, 67, of London, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Born on August 24, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, David was the son of David and Shirley Mae Ragsdale Bounds. He built his life around hard work, dedication, and love for his family. A proud small business owner who was self-employed for many years, David believed in earning an honest living and providing for those he loved.

On February 2, 2002, he married the love of his life, Kathy Jean Wrinkle, in Russellville, Arkansas. Together they built a home filled with laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion. David's greatest accomplishments were not measured in business success, but in the roles he cherished most - devoted husband, loving father, and proud Papa.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: hunting and fishing, collecting guns, cooking hearty meals, and most of all, spending time with his family. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, David treasured every moment with those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

David leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathy Bounds of London; his daughters, Jennifer Guthrie (Shawn) of North Dakota and Jessie Bounds of Russellville; his sons, Jerad Ferrell of London and Buck Bounds of South Carolina; and eight cherished grandchildren, Jesse James, Derak, Gaige, Xavier, Tobias, David, Ava, and Milo. He is also survived by a dear friend, Rick Bocksnick.

A private committal service was held at the Chapel of Light at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
