Mr. Bowen was born September 15, 1954 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Maynard Bowen and Beverly Moulton Bowen. Mr. Bowen was a former Master Mason of the Springfield-Hanby Lodge in Springfield, PA, and a loving father and husband. He enjoyed RV camping and spending time with his family. Before retirement, he was a store manager where he was not only loved by his staff but occasionally helped raise money for charities such as St. Jude’s and Shriner Hospitals. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Companion Funeral and Cremation in Athens, TN, with a Memorial Service to follow.
As a kidney receiver, charity raiser, organ donor, and frequent blood donor, the family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to the American Kidney Fund, National Kidney Foundation, or St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
