Lori Michelle Bowen, 53, of West Rutland passed Thursday February 5th surrounded by family.

Lori graduated Fair Haven Union High School in 1990 and St. Johnsbury College with an Accounting degree.

Lori had a kind and wild soul. She loved music and loved to dance. She was always the life of the party and kept everyone laughing. She was an animal lover of all kinds, especially her cats. She loved reading. You could often find her curled up on the couch with a good book. She was always on the hunt for the newest plant. Her home was filled with them in every room you went.

She loved her children and grandchildren endlessly. Her face always lit up whenever she was talking about them. She was known as "Mama Bear" to many as she took everyone under her wing and treated them like family.

Lori leaves behind her fiancé, Marshal Raymond, Her three children, Brittany Murray, Chelsea Murray, and Joshua Murray, along with her four grandchildren, Aubrey Duprey, Connor Duprey, Ashton Delaire, and Jaxson Delaire. She is also survived by her father, Gary Bowen (Ann Bowen), Sister - Joleen Haley, and brother Phil Bowen (Stephanie Bowen), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother Diane Marie Bowen.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club in Fair Haven February 21st from 3-6PM. All are welcome.
