David J. Brodzeller, 88, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Grafton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.
He was born in Allenton, Wisconsin on February 16, 1937, to Roman and Appolonia "Abby" (Wiedmeyer) Brodzeller. David graduated from Marquette University with a degree in electrical engineering. He then went on to proudly serve in the United States Army, demonstrating dedication and honor to his country. David also dedicated much of his early life and career owning and operating DJB and Associates, Inc. and raising his family in Grafton, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith; his son, Alan Brodzeller of Colorado; his daughter, Karen (David) Cho of Colorado; his step-son, Michael (Lisa) Kilmer of Minnesota; and his step-daughter, Kristin Kilmer of California. Dave was a proud grandfather to Robyn LeMay, Adam Brodzeller, Abby and Brianna Cho, Makenzie "Kenzie" (Judd) O'Connor, Kathryn Kilmer and great-grandfather to Leo LeMay. He is also survived by many cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.
Dave's life was marked by a deep devotion to his family, his church, music, and woodworking, but most of all, by his joy in helping others.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, Arizona.
