David Lewis Brown, 63, of Copperhill, Tennessee passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 in a Canton, Georgia hospital.
David owned and operated Lakewood Landscapes for more than 30 years. He enjoyed outdoors hunting, fishing, and digging trees. In his later years, he passed the time tinkering, carving, and woodworking. He loved spending time with his sons. David was of the Baptist faith.
He was the son of the late James Lewis Brown and Lillie Mae Chastain Graves. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Brown and an infant sister, Janie.
Surviving are two sons, Josh Brown and wife, Melinda, and Jason Brown, all of Turtletown, Tennessee; four sisters, Gale Tinney and husband, Jerry of Ashtabula, Ohio, Debbie Voyles and husband, Bruce of Murphy, North Carolina, Martha Brown and Laura Brown, both of Culberson, North Carolina; two brothers, Sam Graves and wife, Sandy of Robbinsville, North Carolina and Gary Graves and wife, Becky of Murphy; eight grandchildren Ashlyn, Bailey, Jasmine, Nicole, Isabella, Gabriel, Marlee, and Dusty; four great-grandchildren, Everett, Aurora, Oliver, and Emmaline; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Flax Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Josh Ledford officiating.
