David Bulens Obituary

Of South Boston, MA died on May 1, 2024 at age 62 after a long illness. David leaves his long time loving partner, Janet Linehan of South Boston. Devoted father of his daughters, Brittany Bulens of South Boston, Sinead Winston and her husband Brandon of Marshfield and their mom Jane (McCarron) Bulens of Scituate. He also leaves his son, David Itri of South Boston. He will be missed by his only granddaughter, his pride and joy, Wynter Winston.
Devoted brother of Lawrence "Jay" Bulens (Charlene) of Hanover, Susan Rouse (Richard) of Jamaica Plain, Catherine Carrio (Edward) of West Roxbury, and Jeanmarie Fitzpatrick (Scott Thornton) of Braintree, brother in law Thomas Fitzpatrick of Braintree and the late Peter Bulens and Judith Merlino. He will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved son of the late Leonard and Jean (Gilpin) Bulens.
David was a former employee of Boston Water and Sewer. He could often be seen spending hours working on his car or his boat.
There will be a celebration of life on May 11, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Augustine Chapel in South Boston, followed by burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

I just walked by the old Bulens house and was shocked to see it empty and being done over. It´s been awhile yet any time I had in the past the Boat was always there.
I grew up right behind them on Dorchester St and remember fondly each and every one of the Bulens.
I miss the way it was.
David was an awesome guy!

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with him tears ago at BFI in Quincy. Always a good guy trying to sell me one of his boats. May he rest in peace

A day does not go by that I don´t think of us growing up together and all the fun we had. I´ll forever miss you. You´re now with mom and dad... Judy and Peter. Make them laugh like you always did. I love you David.

I´m very sorry to hear of David´s passing. We lived next door in the 90s. I remember Brittany and Sinead when they were very tiny. Sending love to all that miss him.
