David Bundy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dalton Funeral Home - Germantown on Jul. 4, 2024.
David Bundy, age 56, of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center ~ Main Campus. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 17, 1967, son of Sylvia Colleen (Travillian) and Alvin Gene Bundy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 3 daughters, Marissa (Barron) Sulek, Amberly Bundy, and Brianna (Chase) Dempsey; the mother of his children Angela Bundy; 10 grandchildren, Jaylynn Cantrell, Aleigha Dempsey, Barron Sulek Jr., Axl Whittaker, Rylan Sulek, Jackson Dempsey, Adalyn Sulek, Paisley Dempsey, Levi Dempsey, and Kai Hine; and his sister, Iva Royalty. A special mention to those also important in his life were good friends Ed and Karen Dillon, his aunt Barbara "Ruth" Taylor and cousin Vickie Black. He was preceded in death by his nephews, Matthew & Gregory Smith. David was a jack-of-all trades, working many types of jobs throughout his life with the last being in mortuary transport. This is the one he loved the most. He met many people in this job who were facing their worst crisis. With his big warm caring personality, he was able to offer them comfort. David loved to thrift shop to find vintage pieces. He also loved woodworking and restoring furniture to beautiful pieces. He was a complex person that could push your buttons, make you extremely angry one minute and, in the next, soothe your nerves and make you feel like the most important person in the world. His family rode that crazy roller coaster ride with him and loved him fiercely. His humor was second to none and he had the ability to make you laugh until you were in tears. His laugh, described by a friend was sounding like Woody Woodpecker, could help you find him in a crowd as he spent a lot of time laughing and enjoying life. His family feels his absence deeply and he will be greatly missed. David made his final wishes very clear. He was able to gift others in need with organ donation. Cremation was his choice and that wish was honored. A Private Memorial Service will be held. His family invites you to post a good memory and any photos you have of him. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown serving the family.
