Webster: Predeceased by parents, David L. & Edith (Nopwasky) Burton, Sr. Survived by wife, Sandra M. Burton; son, Michael (Brenda) Burton; daughter, Lise Burton; sister, Kimberly (Joe) Yope; grandchildren, Shane Rebis, Danica Burton, Everett Burton; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
David had many hobbies and interests to include: researching his ancestry, puzzles, playing games, traveling, reading, cooking, sitting on the front porch enjoying Mother Nature and all the animals, and fishing in Maine and the Thousand Islands. He was a history buff, especially the Civil War. David was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Penn State football team.
Friends may call Friday, February 2, from 4-7 PM, at the funeral home (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
