A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. The family invites memorials to be made to David’s family. Schroder Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
David was born on January 19, 1954 in Moline, IL to James and Dorothy (Sittler) Chellos. He grew up in New Windsor and graduated from Viola High School. On November 3, 1990 he married the love of his life, Rose, at the Rock Island Boat Club.
David spent his career as a truck driver, but his greatest joys came from life outside of work. He loved golfing, riding motorcycles, tinkering with cars, boating, traveling, and watching the redskins. More than anything, he treasured time with his family and the moments they shared together.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Rose; children Daniel Chellos and David (Patty) Stevens Jr, Jennifer Hart and Ben (Linnea) Sparacello; grandchildren Logan, Kylie, Danielle, Bianca, Sophia, Scarlett, and Natalie, and a brother Rick (Jean) Chellos.
He is reunited in heaven with his parents and his brother, Jerry.
