David J. Clark ObituaryDavid J. Clark, 63
EAST LIVERPOOL – David J. Clark, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday morning, August 9, 2025, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 63 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, February 9, 1962, he was a son of Arleen Plate Wise of Wellsville and the late Norman G. Clark. David grew up in the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church and graduated from Southern Local High School with the Class of 1981. In 1983, he moved to Florida and later lived in Summerville, South Carolina until recently returning to this area. He worked at Coachman Car Wash in Clearwater. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing the Wii and jigsaw puzzles, along with cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Pirates and the Steelers. Above all things in life, Dave enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Norman, as well as his wife, Carol Colabrese Clark, and a brother Jeffrey L. Clark.
In addition to his mother Arleen, he is survived by two sisters, Crystal Louise Bocka and her husband, Stephen, of Wellsville, and Cindy Lee Clark of Hanahan, South Carolina, along with three nephews, a niece, and four great nieces and a great nephew.
Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pastor Jerry Cunningham will conduct a funeral service Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
