I had the privilege of having Mr Clegg as a teacher in my freshman and senior years of highschool. In his class, I always knew I was safe. You are dearly missed.

I have know David since 1996 when I first started working for Quinlan ISD and I have remained close friends with him. I will miss him as will everyone that knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Christina and her family.

Mr. Clegg was a one of a kind teacher. I will never forget his generosity when I was a teen and going through it. He offered safety & a listening ear when I truly needed it. He is going to be greatly missed.

I´ve known David since we both attended first grade. We went to elementary, Jr high, high school & graduated together. We went to the same church. We both worked at Gerland´s supermarket all through high school. He was brilliant, quirky, funny, compassionate,
Loving & always a gentleman. I know his daughter meant everything to him & then of course he was crazy about those grand-daughters.
I am saddened by his passing & will be in prayer for his sweet family.

I will always remember Mr.Clegg as one of my favorite teachers I greatly looked up to him I had him freshmen year, junior year, and senior year for so many different classes he really helped me through a rough patch in my life and I will always be thankful for it he also introduced me to so many new anime´s lol. I remember always annoying him in class and being his teacher aid he would sneak me a cooking or a Coke from the teachers room every now and then I´m gonna really miss him

Mr. Clegg was one of the best teachers I´ve ever had. He was kind, straightforward, compassionate, and loved every single student that walked through his classroom door. I love that we kept in touch after I graduated. I will miss running into him at Brookeshires and him always asking about my kids. I´ll never forget him telling me how proud he was of me for furthering my education while also raising my beautiful kiddos. I´m happy he is rejoicing with the Lord, but he will be missed tremendously here on Earth.
