David Lee Clement

David Lee "Dave" Clement, age 74, of Erie passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. Born July 4, 1947 in Erie he was a son of the late Anthony and Carmella (Soli) Clement.
Dave proudly served in the US Army from 1968 to 1972. He worked at General Electric for over 40 years until his retirement in 2009. He worked bingo at Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church for many years and formerly coached football at Holy Rosary School. Dave was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to casinos and playing Texas hold 'em poker. He was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club, the Fulton Club, and the Polish Sharpshooters Club. He loved his family and would do anything to help people out. Dave also enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen "Kathy" (Huff) Clement; a daughter-in-law, Melanie Clement; his father and mother-in-law, John and Marie Huff; brothers and sisters-in-law Dave and Barbara Huff, Wayne Huff, and Gilbert and Ruth "Diane" Halfast; a sisterJulie Zaczyck; and a niece Darcie Sloan.
Survivors include three sons, John Clement, wife Nadine, Mike Clement, wife Marlene, and David Clement; grandchildren, Ryan, Tristyn, Mikey, Nydia, and Gianni; a brother, Al Clement, wife Patty; a brother-in-law, Mike Huff; nieces Debbie Shaver and Dawn Corcoran, and several great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of a service at 6 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th St. Private burial will take place at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
