Rosemary J. (Pinczewski) Percy, age 79, of Wattsburg, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday October 11, 2025. Born in Erie on November 7, 1945, she was the only child of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Lee) Pinczewski.
Rosie was a graduate of St. Boniface Grade School and St. Benedict Academy and her talents were endless! She sewed wedding dresses for family, painted beautiful ceramics that adorned her home, crocheted colorful blankets that her family still uses to this day to keep warm and taught her children and grandchildren how to knit. She was an accomplished piano player and spent many hours entertaining her family with her voice and love of music.
Rosie lived a life full of adventure! She and Danny traveled the states and logged many miles in their beloved motorhomes, visiting family and taking in all the national parks and sights. An active member of the 4H with her children, she bred Arabian horses and AKC American Eskimos on her farm, lovingly named Long Meadows.
As a longtime member of St. Boniface Church, Rosie worked the fall festivals, sang in the choir was a sacristan and even fit being the school secretary into her busy schedule.
Her passions included snuggling down with a good mystery novel (Agatha Christie being a favorite), sharing her love of reading with her grandchildren, baking an apple pie or banana cake that would rival any famous baker, watching her beloved hummingbirds on the porch and of course bringing her family to annual barn dances and dancing the night away with Danny to their song, From a Jack to a King.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 61 years Dan Percy of Wattsburg, six children, Keith Percy, Maureen Lorei, husband Christopher, Kevin Percy, wife Barb, Bridget Trojanowski, Kayla Engesser, husband Anthony, Mary Eileen (Molly) Chapman, husband Adam 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38th Street, on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and may attend prayers there on Monday at 10:20 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Boniface Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be across from the church at Mount of Olives Cemetery.
