Margaret Mihalic

Margaret Mihalic, age 97, of Erie, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Born in Erie on October 17, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Beskid) Krivonak.

Margaret was a 1945 graduate of East High School and worked as a billing clerk at the Boston Store. She was later employed office worker at G.E. Transportation. Margaret enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, needle point, quilting, cross stitch, and knitting.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Mihalic; two sisters, Katherine Marcinko and Velma Jean Krivonak; and a niece, Velma Jean Marcinko.

Survivors include two nieces , Karen Dolak and her husband John and Mary Jane Smalley, and her husband Joe; many great nieces and great nephews and seven great-great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38t Street, on Thursday, October 9th, from 4 to 7 p.m., and may attend a prayer there on Friday the 10th at 9:30 a.m., and a funeral Mass at St. Luke Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
