David P Clemetson of Janesville, WI went into his Savior’s arms on December 22, 2025, at the age of 65.630100 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donovan and Sylvia Clemetson, sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jack Wuolle, and Karla and Mathew Dew. He is survived by aunts Mary Overton of Janesville and Juanita McGhee of Las Vegas, his sister Anita (Larry) Koupal of Asheville, North Carolina, sister-in-law Jane Dew of Deforest, long-time friend Gary Kirst of Galena, Illinois, friend Paula Feeney of Janesville, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
David was born in Janesville on May 13, 1960. He graduated from Craig High School, attended UW-Rock County for meteorology courses and later completed an associate degree in accounting. For twenty years he was employed by SSI Sintered Specialties, Janesville.
David’s faith in Jesus was his primary life’s focus, spending much of his day in Bible reading and prayer. His bike was his primary transportation around Janesville and beyond, meeting up with family in Madison and friends in Galena and Monroe. Dave dutifully logged his miles, often achieving 10,000 bicycling miles a year! He passionately tracked weather reports and patterns on the news, noticed and remarked on local dogs (“Wet Noses”) daily, and loved the Green Bay Packers.
A Christian funeral of worship and praise will be held at CHRIST THE ROCK CHURCH, 2232 Hermitage Lane, Janesville, on Friday, February 6th, 2026. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, funeral at 2:00, with fellowship to follow, Pastor Mike Dissmore and Pastor Gary Kirst officiating. Burial of his ashes will be in Luther Valley Cemetery, Orfordville, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
