David Allen Closner

David Allen Closner, a sixty-three year old longtime Bernice resident passed away at home on Saturday, April 12, 2025. David was born in El Centro, California to Michael Leonard Closner and Cherylan Dale (Sweeden) Knudtson. David worked from a young age at perfecting his trade. He worked for many years as a carpenter. He would build houses and add-ons all over the area. He loved his family and having a good time with them. Always had a smile on his face and if there was someone who was in need he would do anything he could to help them out. In David's free time he loved to go fishing in Grand Lake and would often times be listening to music, he enjoyed old Rock and Roll. Mr. Closner was preceded in passing by his parents Michael Closner and Cherylan Knudtson.
Survivors include his daughter Angela Renee Closner and son Allen David Closner both of Fayetteville, his sister DeAnna Lynn Arthur and Randy Woods of Grove, Brother Robert Doom and Amy Garrett of Bernice along with his grandchildren Levi Closner, Evva Closner, Johnathan Closner and Bailey Closner.
There will be Visitation for David from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
