David A. Coogler

David A. Coogler, 68, of Las Cruces, NM passed away after a prolonged illness on May 28, 2024. David was born on September 4, 1955, to William "Willie" and Wilma "Joyce" (Taylor) Coogler. David is survived by his aunt, Linda Hamblin, three siblings, Catherine Lopez (Mike), Tommy Coogler, and Bobby Coogler, and his two daughters, Kristi Coogler and Dani Coogler. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Joshua Fancher and Zackary Burden, his very good friend Vicki Barrett, and many nieces and nephews. Outside of two tours with the United States Navy, David spent his life in Las Cruces, where he worked in the building maintenance and landscaping industries. Though he called Las Cruces home, his heart and soul were always looking for a lake where he could fish, drink beer, and relax. David's memorial service will be held June 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm at La Paz Graham's Funeral Home.
