Donald H. Crosby, of Venice, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2025, after valiantly fighting liver cancer.

Donald had a distinguished career as a history teacher for 31 years, teaching for the Dover-Sherborn School System in Massachusetts, and he enjoyed the deep respect and affection from his colleagues and students. Following his retirement from teaching, Donald and Diane pursued their dream of owning and operating their own bed & breakfast and became the proud owners of the Village Green Inn, in Falmouth, MA for 9 years.

Donald believed in community service and engaged in many volunteer opportunities which included the Pine Street Inn, of Boston, the Peace Corps., in Thailand, Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, and several literacy programs in Venice, FL.

Donald was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, he also enjoyed reading, traveling, and working his part-time job at Publix Supermarket. Donald very much enjoyed time spent with his family and friends whenever possible.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane, his grandsons, Brendan, Kyle, and Tyler, his granddaughter, Paige, and his much-loved pet Mollie Fenway, and many extended family and friends. Donald is predeceased by daughters, Kim Crosby Wallace, Debbie Crosby and Jill Crosby, and his brothers, Raymond and Walter Crosby.

A Memorial Mass and Interment will be held at St. Patrick Church in Natick, MA at a future date in the Spring of 2026.
