Dr. Reid Clipp Crosby, 92, of Bedford, Indiana, passed away on September 29, 2025, at Westview Nursing and Rehab. He was born on August 8, 1933, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Ruskin Alden and Georgia Kate (Clipp) Crosby.

After graduating from high school, Dr. Crosby proudly served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 with the "Big Red One Band." Following his service, he attended the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Doctorate, and then went on to practice as an OB-GYN. He first married Sue Charlesworth, who preceded him in death, and then married Connie Beasley, who also preceded him in death.

He was a past member of the Elks Lodge and the Power Squadron, and he was a founding member of the Residue Band.

Survivors include his children, Eric Crosby, Cort (Stephanie) Crosby, Clipp (Jane) Crosby, Bryan (Cami) Beasley, and Thea Beasley and Tammy Davis; grandchildren, Jordan (Scott) Davidson, Zach (Celine) Fite, Haley (Kyle) Powell, Joel (Mackenzie) Beasley, Elli Crosby, Alden Crosby, Van Crosby, Shelby Allen-Davis, Tanner Davis, and Damon Hale; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both of his wives, Sue Charlesworth and Connie Beasley; his parents, Ruskin and Georgia Crosby; and two brothers, J.R. Crosby and L. Kent Crosby.

Private services will be held at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, with burial at Green Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bedford Little Theatre.
