Obituary published on Legacy.com by John Everett & Sons Funeral Home at Natick Common on Sep. 26, 2025.
Marie Blanche LeBlanc departed this life on September 25, 2025. A devoted woman of faith, Marie was a congregant of St. Patrick's Church in Natick. Her faith guided her through life's challenges with courage and its blessings with gratitude.
Marie was born in, and lovingly called, New Brunswick, Canada, her home. She cherished the simple life she led there. In 1963, at the age of 29, she moved with her husband and her five children to the United States. Through years of hard work and careful saving, they were finally able to purchase a house and settle in
Natick, Massachusetts, in 1969, where she created a beautiful home for her family and lived there the remainder of her life.
Raised in the Canadian countryside, Marie's early years on a humble farm instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for simplicity and hard work. Following her move to the United States, she embraced many paths including caring for children in families homes, working as a housecleaner, representing Avon, and serving in various capacities in the school kitchens of Wayland, always giving of herself with warmth and devotion. She took great pride and satisfaction in her work and even after retirement would often express how much she wished she could continue.
A woman of great warmth, joy, and humor, Marie was deeply devoted to her family and treasured her time with her dear friends. She loved her country music, could play rummy 500 for hours on end, and eagerly looked forward to bingo. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, knitting, gardening, and conversing in French, her native language.
Marie touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Above all, she will be remembered for her love of family, along with her kindness to others and her delightful sense of humor.
Marie leaves behind her daughters Albertine LeBlanc and her partner Allen Rogers, Rita Lang, and Geraldine Gunning and her husband Michael Gunning, her grandchildren Neil Spillane, E.J. Lang, Adam Podzka and his partner Kathleen Moran, Donald Podzka and his wife Kerri Podzka, Wayne Podzka, Alicia Randall and her husband Josh Randall, and Sharelle LeBlanc along with many great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her mother Simone Beaulieu and her father Alfred Beaulieu, her husband Gerard J. LeBlanc, her daughter Alice Podzka and her husband Wally Podzka, her son Phillip LeBlanc, her grandsons Gregory Lang and Keith LeBlanc, and her brothers Albert Beaulieu, Paul Beaulieu, and Adrian Beaulieu.
