Dave (David) Cullen passed away peacefully at his home, on April 3, 2025.
Dave was a devoted family man who found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Laurie Cullen. His three children, Amy (Phil), Andrea, and Gabe (Janna), his three grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Else, Kane, and Brooks; and his siblings Cathy, Judy, and Victor. He was preceded in death by his sister Debbie, brother Tony and parents Willard and Opal.
Dave loved taking his boat out on the water to go fishing and crabbing, occasional golf adventures, enjoyed camping with family, and spent a lot of time in his yard and garden. One of his favorite things to do was attend anything and everything his grand-kids were involved in. From sporting events, birthday parties, and school activities, he was always there in attendance.
Dave and Laurie enjoyed spending long weekends away exploring Washington state, often accompanied by his favorite sister-in-law, Robin.
Born in North Platte, Nebraska in 1953, his family later moved to Bremerton, Washington. Eventually he made his way to Seattle where he worked at Cochran Electric for 29 years where he met Laurie, his wife to be. Together they raised their children in the Greenlake area.
Dave lived a vibrant life, filled with family, love, kindness and laughter. We will miss him deeply.
We find comfort in the stories and pictures that friends and family have shared with us since his passing.
A private remembrance will be held at a later date.
