David J. Cutrone, 57, of Brewerton, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 after a short illness. David was a graduate of Liverpool High School and worked as a self-employed landscaper and truck driver for many years prior to suffering a debilitating accident in 2016. Everyone who knew David knew him as an extremely tender-hearted person (even if his gruff voice indicated otherwise), his quick wit and his laugh. David had an incredible sense of humor and impeccable timing with his one-liners. He was a loving brother and son, calling his father faithfully every week, and never hanging up the phone before making sure you knew that he loved you. David was a loyal NY Jets fan (no matter what) and enjoyed watching SU football and basketball. David loved boating, spending time on Oneida Lake, and recently was working on his culinary skills.
He is predeceased by his mother, Mary (Muscolino) Cutrone.
David is survived by his father, James R. Cutrone, Sr. of Ft. Pierce, Fl.; his sister, Gina (Rick) Rhode of Fulton; his brothers, James (Michele) Cutrone of Liverpool, Joseph (Adele) Cutrone of Bernhards Bay; along with his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Nichole, Mary, Marissa and Michael. David will also be greatly missed by his partner, Tina Cehfus.
Family and friends may call from 10 am – 12 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 with a memorial service following at 12:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
David, we will miss your heart of gold, your exuberant personality, your froggy voice and that laugh of yours. Your family and friends will continue to hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
