Nick is survived by his beloved wife Marie, his loving sons Nicholas and Anthony; daughter-in-law Christine, and by his siblings Annamaria Aigotti and Joseph Zitfel.
Nick grew up in Brooklyn NY with his mother Anna Cutrone his sister Annamaria his brother Joseph and extended family. He came from humble beginnings and moved to Staten Island as an adult. He raised his family there and his career as meat manager lasted for more than 25 years at Pastosa in Eltingville. Nick acquired many friends, devoted customers and colleagues at this location who admired him for his strong work ethic.
He prided himself on taking the time to speak to his many customers and coworkers with kindness and consideration of their needs. He was treated as family there and will be missed by all that knew him. Life will not be the same without him in this community. We are at peace knowing he leaves us followed by an outpouring of love, kindness and respect from all that had the privilege of knowing him and spending time with him. We are certain that he is safe and at peace now.
A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312.
Burial of Ashes to follow at Oceanview Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
