David W. Darrah, 70, of Bradford Rd, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was born in Plattsburgh, the son of Shirley (Rock) and the late Ralph Darrah on February 27th, 1954. David was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation for 31 years.
David enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the casino, and bringing his Mom for rides just to get out of the house. He is survived by his son Nicholas Darrah (Jessica DuBrey) of Mooers, 7 grandchildren, Zoey, Alexis, Gailen, Harper, Tiana, Dylan, and Macey as well as 3 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Debbie (Robert) Hare of Kansas, Sharon (Michael) St. Louis of Lake Placid, Jill (George) Dow of Peru, two brothers, Ralph Darrah of Cadyville, and Scott (Dell) Darrah of Cadyville, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, his wife Judy whom he married in a private ceremony on July 19, 1999, and their beloved dog Muttley. David also leaves behind his closest and lifelong friend, John Hebert.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday April 6, 2024, at St. Alexanders Cemetery in Morrisonville, NY.
