David Dase Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Florence on Aug. 28, 2025.
David Allen Dase, age 72, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025.

Born to Clifford and Ruth (Uphaus) Dase, who preceded him in death, David was a man of quiet strength and steady hands. He spent many years working as a framer at Builders First Source and also worked in shipping for DHL. David took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and gentle spirit.

David was a devoted husband to his wife of 25 years, Debbie Dase. He was a beloved stepfather to Kellie (Jeremy) Miller and a proud grandfather to Titus, Zander, and Paxon Miller.

He is also survived by his siblings: brothers Cliff (Tim Mara) Dase and Jim (Debbie) Dase; sisters Mary Lynch and Ruth (Bill) McDonald; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Chuck Lynch.

David was a man of faith who attended both Community Family Church and Resurrection Church. He found peace in simple pleasures-doing carpentry work, caring for his animals, completing word searches, and watching Judge Judy. He was a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy-down-to-earth and dependable.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his devotion to family, and above all, his love for the Lord.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Highland Cemetery Chapel, 2167 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel, with burial to follow immediately in Highland Cemetery.

David Allen Dase will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
