Born March 5, 1962, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Henry Van McLaughlin and the late Nancy Carol Garner McLaughlin.
Dave lived a private life; he enjoyed the simple life. He enjoyed painting, drawing and airbrushing. He was an outdoorsman, and an animal lover. He attended Trinity High School.
Left to cherish his memory; his brothers, Billy McLaughlin of Rural Hall and Timmy McLaughlin of Thomasville; sister, Kathy Bullard (Michael) of High Point; nieces, Haley Livengood (Cody), Ashley McLaughlin and Victoria McLaughlin; special friend, Cathy Porter; and his beloved dogs, Roscoe and Goober.
Though there will be no formal services, Dave’s life will be remembered by those who loved him.
