On Friday, September 26, 2025, David Gene Davis Jr went to be with our Lord at the age of 65. David was born March 19, 1960, in Oklahoma City, to David and Deana Davis. David grew up in the Choctaw area and graduated from Choctaw High School. He worked with his dad at Dave’s Tire, Brake and Alignment Service on 225 NE 36th Street in OKC since its opening in 1979. His son, Matthew Davis is the third generation to run their business. Dave enjoyed meeting new people, providing excellent service and having many loyal customers and long-time friends. He loved OKC Thunder basketball, OU football and basketball, racing, horses, RVs, playing poker and fast cars.
David is survived by his wife, Rhonda Davis; daughter Sara Davis and son Jaxon; son Matt Davis and wife Hannah with their 3 children, Henry, Briar Rose, and Samuel; his first wife Linda Davis; sister Michelle Tucker and husband Rick; nephew Chris Wood and wife Summer with their daughters Lily and Isabella; father David Gene Davis Sr. and wife Rubilynne; stepson Michael Korstjens and wife Shawna with their 4 children, Chris, Alex, Isaac, and Halle; his stepson Joe Korstjens and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
David is preceded in death by his mother, Deana Leaveta Davis, his nephew Nathan Wood, and his grandparents Sally and Ples Davis.
