David Charles Davis, 69, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on June 27, 1956, in Petaluma, California, to Joyce Ann Beights and Vincent Davis.
David began his career at the Light Bulb Supply Company before pursuing his calling as a public health nurse. Over the years, he worked with compassion and dedication at Saint Anthony Hospital, the VA, and the Oklahoma City County Health Department.
He had a love for antiques, enjoyed going to the movies, and delighted in dining out with friends and family. David was devoted to his dogs, who brought him great comfort and joy. Above all, he cherished his close relationship with his family, keeping in touch often with his siblings through regular phone calls.
David is survived by his loving spouse, Curt Carberry; his sisters, Melody Williams, LaRena Gonzalez, and Tanya Beights; and his brothers, Donald Davis and Willie Beights II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Ann Beights and Vincent Davis, and his half-brother, Willie Beights Jr.
David will be remembered for his kindness and the deep care he showed to those around him.
A celebration of life service is planned for Saturday, December 27th. Location and time to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pet Food Pantry of OKC, www.petfoodpantryokc.org, Phone:(405) 664-2858.
